Abstract

The single insertion of SV40 DNA present in the genome of the 14B line of transformed rat cells has been cloned in procaryotic vectors. Analysis of the clones reveals a complex arrangement of viral sequences in which a small tract of DNA is inverted with respect to the major insertion.
