Abstract

Rous-associated virus 0 (RAV-0), an endogenous chicken virus, does not cause disease when inoculated into susceptible domestic chickens. An infectious unintegrated circular RAV-0 DNA was molecularly cloned, and the sequence of the long terminal repeat (LTR) and adjacent segments was determined.
