Abstract
Pleomorphic liposarcoma (PLPS) is the less common subtype of liposarcoma, accounting for only 5%–15% of all liposarcomas and characterized by a high malignant potential with metastases in 30%–35% of cases [1]. Data regarding the role of systemic treatment in patients with advanced PLPS are almost nonexistent. We reviewed the medical records of 39 patients with unresectable and/or metastatic PLPS who were treated between 1991 and 2011.
