Low serum glucose in leukemic mice

Victor, Joseph, Potter, James S. (1938) Low serum glucose in leukemic mice. The American Journal of Cancer, 33 (4). pp. 578-580.

Abstract

The metabolism of line I leukemia cells in serum of normal or line I immunized mice differs from that in serum of mice with line I leukemia (4). Certain differences could be explained if the blood sugar level of mice with leukemia was much lower than that of the other mice. The purpose of this report is to compare the blood sugar levels in normal, line I immunized, and line I leukemic mice. The mice were of strain C58.
