Mutable genes in Drosophila virilis

Three mutable genes are known in D. virilis, namely, reddish body color, which mutates only at the reduction divisions of heterozygous [female] [female], miniature wings and magenta eye color, which mutate in all stages of development of [female] [female] and [male] [male]
