Sexual dimorphism in three races of mankind

Steggerda, Morris (1932) Sexual dimorphism in three races of mankind. Eugenical News, 17 (5). pp. 109-111.

Abstract

A [female] measurement divided by a [male] measurement gives an index for sex difference for the given measurement. The averages of such [female]/[male] indices for 36 measurements of various parts of the body, made on members of 3 races of mankind (Dutch Whites, Jamaican Negros, and Maya Indians), are assembled in a table which shows that the % difference between [male][male] and [female][female], or sexual dimorphism, is not the same for various measurements, and also that these differences vary in the different races.
